TOWN OF 14ASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> May 12 , 1994 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Steven R. Ball and Robert F. Cram. Mr. <br /> Doherty joined the meeting at 7:27 p.m, . <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball , Acting Chairman <br /> 1 . ) Board reorganization - Continued until later in the <br /> meeting. <br /> 2 . ) Warrants signed. <br /> 3 . ) Continued until Mr. Doherty's arrival . <br /> 4. ) Cape Cod Public Health Communication Network_ minutes - <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "I did attend their meeting today. " "The <br /> topic of discussion was the cancer rates and incidence on <br /> Cape Cod. " <br /> Mr. Ball questioned Mr. Evans as to how they rated <br /> Mashpee. <br /> Mr. Evans responded, "Mashpee was not among the towns <br /> having the highest cancer rate. " <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented, "The intent of this group is to <br /> have one voice so that all town Boards of Health can answer <br /> in a similar way questions regarding the higher cancer inci- <br /> dence rate on the Cape. " <br /> 5. ) _Baptist Church fee waiver request - Mr. Evans relayed, <br /> "The Church has had a failed septic system for close to a <br /> year. " "We finally received a design by the engineer and <br /> feel it is satisfactory. " "They are requesting a waiver of <br /> the permit fee. " <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to waive the septic permit fee for the <br /> Mashpee Baptist Church, Mr. Cram seconded. <br /> 6. ) Copy of letter -to O.S.H.A - Acknowledged. <br /> Mr. Ball relayed, "I did request Mr. DiMaggio provide a <br /> list of all employees working at the landfill on that date. " <br />
