" <br /> Mr. Doherty questioned Mr. Michniewicz as to whether the <br /> owner had considered any kind of on-site treatment plant. <br /> Mr. Michniewicz responded, "No." <br /> Mr. Ball questioned the number of existing bedrooms. <br /> Mr. Michniewicz responded, "There are five existing bed- <br /> rooms. " "The owner is reconstructing to a four bedroom <br /> home. " <br /> Mr. Doherty informed Mr. Michniewicz, "This Board re- <br /> quires 4' of naturally occurring permeable soil between the <br /> bottom of the leaching facility and groundwater. " <br /> Mr. Michniewicz responded, "I am aware of the regulation <br /> however, I wasn't aware it applied to an existing septic sys- <br /> tem. " <br /> Mr. Doherty informed Mr. Michniewicz this Board would <br /> look favorably on an alternative leaching facility. <br /> Mr. Ball questioned Mr. Michniewicz as to whether he <br /> would like this matter continued until next week's meeting <br /> when Mr. McQuaid is in attendance. <br /> Mr. Michniewicz responded, "Yes." <br /> This matter was discussed later in the meeting. <br /> 3. ) Letter from Yarmouth re: Sgptage - Mr. McQuaid recom- <br /> mended the Board forward a memo to Selectmen Costa recommend- <br /> ing he research the matter. <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> 4. ) Copy of D.E.P. Consent Order to McN tt (Merry Meadow <br /> By-Way) - Acknowledged. <br /> 5. ) Copies of co res ondence re: Lakeside Trailer Park - <br /> Mr. Ben Aldridge was in attendance to discuss this matter. <br /> Mr. Aldridge stated, "While the owner of the trailer <br /> park was away there were two failed systems. " <br />
