r <br /> MINUTES June 23 , 1994 4 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> request the builder offer to pay for town water hookup to the <br /> abutting lot which is still on an existing private well. <br /> Mr. Raymond stated, "The flagging down by Cataquin Pond <br /> was labeled and performed by Legal Environmental Con- <br /> sultants. " "I am willing to have my crew stake the edge of <br /> the leaching facility. " "I am requesting the Board postpone <br /> the hearing for two weeks as this will allow enough time to <br /> notify abutters. " <br /> Board members agreed to continue this hearing for two <br /> weeks. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Nat Hailey - Mashpee Village <br /> Mr. Hailey, the owners representative for Mashpee Vil- <br /> lage Limited Partnership, (formerly Mashpee United Church <br /> Village) was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "I attended a meeting in regards to <br /> changes that will be occurring at Mashpee Village." "I <br /> wholeheartedly support the changes. " "They are proposing <br /> public water, replumbing and repairs to the existing septic <br /> systems. " "The owners are requesting the Board's approval to <br /> repair failed septic systems based on the standard emergency <br /> repair process in which an engineer is not required." <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "I agree with Mr. Evans that based <br /> on circumstances, putting Mashpee Village at the added ex- <br /> pense of hiring an engineer as opposed to an installer will <br /> not improve the septic repairs. " <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant approval for Mashpee Village <br /> to retain an installer to perform emergency septic repairs <br /> with the stipulation an agent of this Board certifies the <br /> system(s) in failure, Mr. Cram seconded. <br /> 3 . ) Letter from Barnstable Count re: Used motor oil - <br /> Continued until Mr. Doherty is in attendance. <br /> 4. ) Re nest for waiver of commercial sticker fee Mashpee <br /> Food Pantry - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a nonprofit <br /> agency. " <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to waive the 1994 commercial sticker <br /> fee, Mr. Ball seconded. <br /> 5. ) Temporary Food Stand ARplication, "Swim Meet" - Mr. <br /> McQuaid relayed, "This is a nonprofit event. " <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to grant a temporary food stand permit <br /> and to waive the fee, Mr. Ball seconded. <br />
