TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Y <br /> July 14 , 1994 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Steven R. Ball and Robert F. Cram <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> 1 . ) Warrants signed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: James Fellows - Commercial Sticker <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Mr. Fellows is unable to attend <br /> the meeting however he did agree to speak to the Board via <br /> conference call . <br /> Mr. McQuaid explained to Board members, "Mr. Fellows <br /> would like to dispose of wood scrap, sawdust, cardboard and <br /> packaging materials from his window business. " <br /> Mr. McQuaid informed Mr. Fellows, "we will permit the <br /> debris as long as it originates from Mashpee. " "There would <br /> be a charge over and above the commercial sticker fee as the <br /> material cannot be landfilled. " <br /> Mr. Fellows stated, "Basically I will have very little <br /> commercial demolition." "In my business I recycle the win- <br /> dows, I do not replace the windows unless they are damaged. " <br /> "I also do a small amount of remodeling on the side so I may <br /> have some demolition material . " "I have a commercial garage <br /> in Sandwich at the Industrial Park which I plan on having a <br /> dumpster at. " "I will be using the Mashpee Landfill prima- <br /> rily for household garbage. " <br /> Mr. McQuaid recommended Mr. Fellows obtain his second <br /> residential sticker for his truck and utilize his dumpster in <br /> Sandwich to dispose of the commercial debris. <br /> Mr. Fellow questioned, "I have the opportunity to obtain <br /> a commercial sticker and pay for demolition from Mashpee as I <br /> bring it in. " <br /> Mr. Ball responded, "Yes. " <br />
