MINUTES July 14 , 1994 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed to Mr. Fellows , "I would strongly <br /> suggest you avoid the $125.00 cost and utilize you dumpster <br /> at the Sandwich Industrial Park. <br /> Board members agreed to research the matter. <br /> 2. ) Mr. Ball recommended the Board postpone approving min- <br /> utes until Mr. Doherty's attendance at next week's meeting. <br /> Mr. Cram agreed. <br /> 3 . ) D.E.P. "Notice of Non-comlia ce" to Lakeside Trailer <br /> Park - Mr. Ben Aldridge and residents of Lakeside Trailer <br /> Park were in attendance. <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "I would recommend the Board con- <br /> sider forwarding a letter to Mr. Haney and D.E.P. with our <br /> concerns. " "Perhaps it is time to reconsider allowing them <br /> to use their private well for the time frame allotted by <br /> D.E.P. . " "If Mr. Haney is not complying with the most <br /> minimal requirements of the D.E.P. then D.E.P ought to re- <br /> examine their agreement to use their private well. " "I re- <br /> ceived a call from Rep. Thomas Cahir's office_ today." "It <br /> appears Mr. Aldridge contacted Mr. Cahir's office and in- <br /> formed him their rent increased by $40.00 and will increase <br /> again in the near future. " "Mr. Cahir's office did question <br /> the background of Lakeside Trailer Park, as far as, the Board <br /> of Health is concerned. " "I did inform his office of the <br /> septic and water problems and his non-compliance with the <br /> agreement established between this Board and Mr. Haney. " <br /> Mr. Ball directed Mr. McQuaid to forward a letter to <br /> D.E.P. expressing the Board's concerns with the water situa- <br /> tion and request they require public water service to the en- <br /> tire trailer park. <br /> Mr. Aldridge expressed his concern with a tenant in the <br /> trailer park who continues to have a septic problem. <br /> The tenant (name not stated) , relayed, "My grandmother <br /> who owns the trailer will be released from the hospital to- <br /> morrow. " "The problem is a few weeks ago the elbow connec- <br /> tion beneath the trailer fell off due to the backflow. " "I <br /> informed the management of the problem and they gave me a <br /> hard time. " "They suggested I call a plumber as it was our <br /> problem. " "Due to my financial status I requested they con- <br /> tact one of their plumbers to check out the problem. " "Mr. <br /> Aldridge suggested I contact the Board of Health which I <br /> did. " "One of the agents inspected the site and informed me <br /> the system must be fixed. " "I contacted the management and <br /> informed them the problem has not been rectified. ,, "They <br /> gave me some chemical to flush down my toilet. " "My grand- <br />
