MINUTES July 28 , 1994 5 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "I will confer with the Conservation <br /> Commission agency prior to the repair. " <br /> Re uest for waiver of fees - "Mash pee Night at the Pops" <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a nonprofit organization. " <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "They propose two food stands for the <br /> event. " <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to waive the fee as requested, Mr. <br /> Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> Request to sell preserves - "Dick & Ellie's" Flea Market <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "This individual does not make the <br /> product she purchases it from a cannery. " <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "The letter is not signed nor did <br /> the individual provide a copy of the company's license. " <br /> "Also, there is no proof that the company is licensed to sell <br /> interstate. " <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "It states on the letter that there are <br /> no federal or state regulations in Vermont that requires such <br /> a certificate or license. " <br /> Mr. McQuaid responded, "This is interstate commerce, <br /> they must be licensed in Vermont or at least licensed by fed- <br /> eral F.D.A. . " "My main concern is that there are no tamper <br /> proof seals on the product. " <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to deny the request to sell pre- <br /> serves at "Dick & Ellie's Flea Market" based on the health <br /> agent's concerns," Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> Contractual Agreement - "Triumverate Environmental" for <br /> Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to authorize Elias A. McQuaid as <br /> health agent for the town of Mashpee to sign the " contractual <br /> agreement between the towns of Mashpee/Falmouth and <br /> "Triumverate Environmental" for the household hazardous waste <br /> collection day, Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> Acceptance of Propane Tanks at the Landfill <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to adopt a policy whereby propane <br /> tanks 20 lbs. or less and deemed by the overseer of the land- <br /> fill to be recyclable will now be accepted at the Transfer <br /> Station/Landfill with the stipulation the owner of the <br />
