Cram Sr. <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball , Chairman <br /> 1 . ) Warrants signed. <br /> 2. ) Mr. Cram motioned to accept the minutes of August 4, <br /> 1994 , Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> 3 . ) Temporary Food Permit Application, Wickertree Catering - <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "There are three temporary food stand <br /> permits requested this evening for the tennis event at <br /> Willowbend. " "Willowbend did submit a letter indicating a <br /> portion of the proceeds will benefit a children's charity. " <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to approve the temporary food stand <br /> applications @ $25.00 per stand per day with the stipulation <br /> a representative of Willowbend verifies each vendor has been <br /> authorized to sell food at the charitable event, Mr. Cram <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 4 . ) Five Star Recycling correspondence - Mr. McQuaid re- <br /> layed, "We received a letter from Mr. Wiggins which states <br /> the proposed facility will be relocated one lot back from the <br /> original proposal . " "This relocation will comply with zoning <br /> requirements. " <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> 5. ) Copy of Building Inspector's memo to Exec. Sec. re: Un- <br /> safe Buildings - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Mr. Hauck has been <br /> asked by the Executive Secretary to establish a policy on how <br /> to deal with abandoned or unsecured buildings in town. " "The <br /> Board of Health has one avenue as to how to deal with aban- <br /> doned and unsafe buildings. " "Mr. Hauck is of the opinion <br /> the best procedure is to form a committee to handle unsafe <br /> structures. " "The committee or "Survey Board" would be able <br /> to condemn a foundation that has been found to be dangerous <br /> to human health whereas in order for the Board of Health to <br /> condemn a structure in existence it must be deemed by an <br /> Agent to be "Unfit for Human Habitation" .
