MINUTES September 1, 1994 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 9 . ) Variance re guest, 72 Seconsett Island Road and 59 Jones <br /> Road <br /> 72 Seconsett Island Road - "The owner is requesting a 4' <br /> State sideline variance from the tank to the sideline. " "It <br /> being a tank and not a leach pit I would recommend the Board <br /> approve the request. " <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to grant a 4• State sideline variance, <br /> Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> 59 Jones Road - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The owner is upgrading <br /> the existing system from a cesspool to a Title V system. " <br /> "Variances requested are; a 29' local variance from the <br /> on-site existing well to the abutting leaching facility <br /> (house #52) , a 32' local variance from the on-site existing <br /> well to the abutting leaching facility (House #19) . <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the variances as stated by <br /> Mr. McQuaid, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Emergency Repair Certification - 12 Sachem Road <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The cesspool was found to be over <br /> 1/2 full. " <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the "Emer- <br /> gency Repair Certification" form. <br /> Variance request - 52 Hogan Drive <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "This is a preapproved <br /> subdivision. " "The engineer requested in writing the footage <br /> for variance relief however, did not delineate on plans the <br /> area(s) affected. " <br /> Board members agreed to continue the request for vari- <br /> ance relief pending revised plans delineating the distances <br /> to the affected areas. <br /> Variance request - 6 Hagan Drive <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The same engineer submitted plans <br /> which omit the distances for the requested variance relief . " <br /> Board members agreed to continue the request for vari- <br /> ance relief pending revised plans delineating the distances <br /> to the affected areas. <br />
