TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> October 13, 1994 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Steven R. Ball, John T. Doherty and Robert F. Cram, Sr. <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> 1.) Warrants signed. <br /> 2.) Mr. Doherty motioned to accept the minutes of October 6, 1994, Mr. Cram <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 3.) Revisions to Title V - Mr. Ball stated, "I would recommend Board members <br /> review the proposed regulation for comment at an upcoming meeting." <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The proposed regulation is lengthy." "I will have copies <br /> made for Board members to pick-up within the week." <br /> 4.) Follow-up to Morin's illegal dumping - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Mr. & Mrs. Morin <br /> went out and cleaned up the site." "As they were going through the trash they found <br /> other documents implicating another tenant at the same house that she was renting from." <br /> "In researching the "Minimum Standards for Housing" any landlord/landlady of a rooming <br /> house is responsible for the removal and disposal of trash." "I did forward a warning <br /> letter to the landlady." <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "I would recommend we forward a letter to the landlady <br /> requesting her attendance at an upcoming meeting to explain the matter." "Failure to do <br /> so will result in the Board pursuing legal action against her." <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> 5.) Scrap metal survey - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "At last week's meeting the Board <br /> directed me to research how other surrounding towns are handling their white goods and <br />{ the price per ton they are receiving." <br />
