Cram, Sr. <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> F <br /> 1.) Warrants signed. <br /> 2.) Mr. Doherty motioned to accept the minutes of February 2, 1995, Mr. Cram <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> I <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to accept the Executive Session minutes of February 2, 1995, <br /> Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> j APPOINTMENT: John Rowland -"FAST" Treatment System <br /> Mr. John Rowland and Mr. Jim Dunlap were in attendance for this scheduled <br /> appointment_ <br /> Mr_ Rowland stated, "The "FAST" system is manufactures by Smith and <br /> Loveless." "The FAST System in its various sizes, from a full unit up to 200,000 gallons, <br /> has been operating for 20, 25 years and is well documented." "We have received a <br /> provisional permit from D.E.P. in the last couple of days." "It is out for comment and <br /> should be in the papers around March 15, 1995." "The FAST system is a on-site <br /> secondary wastewater treatment system." "The system sits in a septic tank." "It has a <br /> housing around it and it sits into and is bolted down onto the top." "There is an air blower <br /> on the top and a housing around it." "The system reduces nitrogen to 2.7." "Pathogens <br /> and bacteria are affected approximately 50%." "Further reductions would require a UV <br /> filter on the end." "Most of the units we are installing have UV units." <br /> Mr. Dunlap stated, "Coliform results have been less then 10." <br />_, Mr. Ball questioned, "What size tank would this unit fit into." <br />
