TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> May 4, 1995 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Steven R. Ball, John T. Doherty and Robert F. Cram, Sr.. <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> 1.) Warrants signed. <br /> Eurica Gorski - Farm Stand license request <br /> Mr. Eurica Gorski was in attendance. <br /> Ms. McQuaid relayed, "Ms. Gorski is interested in setting up a produce stand at <br /> Dick & Ellie's Flea Market." "If Ms. Gorski is a farmer and sells more then. 50% of the <br /> produce off her farm them she does not require a permit from the Board of Health." <br /> "However, if she is retailing at Dick & Ellie's then she does require a permit from the <br /> Board of Health." "The fee for the farm stand would be $25.00 for the season." <br /> Mr. Ball questioned Ms. Gorski as to whether she is a farmer." <br /> Ms. Gorski responded, "No." "I buy some produce from farmer's, farmer's <br /> markets and the rest from local supermarkets." <br /> Mr. Ball questioned Ms. Gorski as to whether she makes her living from selling the <br /> produce." <br /> Ms. Gorski responded, "We just started." "We did sell some produce at the <br /> Wellfleet flea market." "Out stuff is cheaper than the store and we do not have much <br /> overhead." <br /> Mr. Cram questioned whether Ms. Gorski has any type of refrigeration unit. <br />
