TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> August 17, 1995 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: John T. Doherty, Robert F. Cram, Sr. and Steven R. Bail <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> I <br /> Mr. John T. Doherty, Chairman <br /> 1.) Warrants signed. <br /> 2.) Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of August 10, 1995, Mr. Cram seconded, <br /> all agreed. <br /> 3.) Memo from Town Clerk re: Sticker Office - Acknowledged. <br /> 4.) Letter from Attorney Haddleton re: Septic inspection - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "in <br /> this instance no inspection of the leaching facility is required. <br /> Mr. McQuaid directed the secretary to forward a letter to Attorney Haddleton <br /> informing him the Board of Health has not adopted any regulations stricter than the new <br /> Title V requirements for inspection upon transfer of property and in this instance no <br /> inspection is required. <br /> I <br /> 5.) Proposed memo to Selectmen re: Town Hall water supply - Mr. McQuaid <br /> relayed, 1 researched this with D.E.P. and the Water District." "Within 5 years it would <br /> cost us more to operate a well rather then tie-in to town water." "D.E.P. agreed cost <br /> estimates were close to an accurate estimation." <br /> Board members agreed to forward the memo as presented. <br /> 6.) Clean Venture invoice - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Since there was such a poor <br /> turnout perhaps the Board would like to consider holding the household hazardous waste <br /> collection day in the spring or fall as opposed to the summer." <br /> Board members will research the matter. <br />
