i <br />�r <br /> MINUTES August 17, 1995 3 BOARD OF HF'AL.TH <br /> I <br /> 27 STURGIS LANE - Mr. Evans relayed, "I inspected the site and found two cesspools <br /> overflowing into Mashpee Pond." <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the "Emergency Repair <br /> Certification" form. <br /> 31 HIGHLAND STREET - Mr. Evans relayed, "I inspected the site and found the pit <br /> full," "An engineered plan was previously submitted therefore the new pit will be installed <br /> in the reserve area." <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the "Emergency repair <br /> Certification" form. <br /> *****OLD BUSINESS***** <br /> 175 Surf Drive <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The Board previously granted the variance relief." <br /> "Subsequently, it was learned the engineer had not met Conservation Commission <br /> approval as insufficient information was been submitted therefore, the Board reconsidered <br /> its' vote." "The Conservation Commission has submitted a memo recommending the <br /> installation of a Bio-clere system." "In speaking with the engineer today I questioned hi'm <br /> as to whether he could possibly relocate the active pit 3' to 5' further away from the <br /> wetlands thereby maintaining 75' and install a Bio-clere system.'' <br /> Mr. Doherty commented, "Our primary concern is pathogen die-off." <br /> i <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "In my opinion the variance the Board granted two weeks <br /> ago was environmentally sound with the Bio-clere and the u.v.." "The engineer did agree <br /> to approach the owner and request he install a u.v. system." <br /> Mr. Bali stated, `Based on subsequent information this Board has been made <br /> aware of a production commercially available that will directly address the issue of <br /> pathogens therefore, 1. motion to amend the decision granted by this Board on June 15, <br /> 1995 to state as follows, a 25' variance from the edge of the wetland area as verified by the <br /> Conservation Commission with the stipulation a Bio-clere leaching system with a u.v. <br /> disinfectant system is installed on the property, Mr. Cram seconded, all agreed. <br />
