MINUTES August 31, 1995 2 BOARD or HEJ%LTH � <br /> i <br /> i <br /> Discussion took place regarding; the town implementing a computerized transfer <br /> station program. Various tracking methods were presented by Mr, Griffin. <br /> 3.) Newspaper recycling credit - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Sandwich is now picking up <br /> our newspapers." "We received our first check for newspaper processing." <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> 4.) Emergency Title V revisions, F.Y.I. - Acknowledged. <br /> 5.) Variance request, 41 Pond Circle - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The applicant is <br /> requesting a 40' local variance from abutting welt to the proposed on-site leaching <br /> facility." "Town water is available however, one abutter is not connected but it does meet <br /> the State minimum of 100'." "This is a pre-existing subdivision." "The Conservation <br /> Commission agent did verify the wetlands delineation to the pond." <br /> Mr. Doherty recommended the applicant install an alternative technology leaching <br /> facility. <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "If the variance relief was less than 100' I would recommend an <br /> alternative system." <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented, "I would recommend Board members continue tins <br /> matter until next week's meeting when Mr. Cram will be in attendance." <br /> Agreed. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to continue this matter until next week's meeting, Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 6.) Perc extension request, 120 Feels Pond Road - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The lot <br /> was perked in September, 1992." "A pen-nit was issued to an installer March 9, 1994 and <br /> does not expire until March 9, 1996." 1 would recommend the Board extend the pert as <br /> requested as it will revalidate the septic permit until March 9, 1996." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to extend the validity of the septic penilit for two years from <br /> tl e date of issue, Mr. Doherty seconded. <br />
