"Since 1989 town water has come up Route 130 and is
available on the Santuit Woods development side." "I would recommend the Board
require the applicant supply water to those lots within the subdivision."
Mr. Evans relayed, "I spoke with Dave Rich'who relayed that the applicant did
inquire about town water." "There was a tentative agreement however, the applicant has
now withdrawn his application."
Mr. McQuaid commented, "The subdivision is in close proximity to the old landfill
site and an area in which high nitrates were found."
Mr. Doherty motioned to direct the agent to forward a certified letter to the owner
of the subdivision informing him this Board will not issue any well permits in the
subdivision due to the close proximity of the old town landfill and the close proximity of a
subdivision in which high nitrates have been recorded, Mr. Ball seconded.
Being no further business Mr. Ball motioned to adjourn this meeting at 9:05 p.m., Mr.
Doherty seconded.
Respectfully submitted,
Veronica Mayer, Adm.
