Mr. Cram motioned to accept the minutes of October 5, 1995, Mr. Ball seconded, <br /> all agreed. <br /> 3.) Request for SEP-TECH re: Alternative wastewater disposal - Acknowledged. <br /> 4.) Minutes and ingtfing schedule Human Services Coalition - Mr. McQuaid relayed, <br /> "There is a movement going on to create a human service department." "Selectperson <br /> Caffyn is the backbone behind this movement." "Ms. Caffyn is unaware as to what is <br /> already under contract through the Board of Health." "She is of the opinion Mashpee was <br /> the lowest cape town as far as dollars spent per resident on human services." "I informed <br /> her she is incorrect and questioned her where she was obtaining her information from." <br /> "We have created a list of our human service agencies and what they provide and we're <br /> spending well beyond what she thinks we do." "In my opinion, we should request Ms. <br /> j Caffyn attend an upcoming meeting to bring her up to date on current services provided <br /> and services funds were recently appropriated for." <br /> i <br /> Mr. Doherty relayed, "Regardless of what we do it will not change her objectives." <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "I spoke with Ms. Caffyn this afternoon." "Ms. Caffyn has <br /> been in touch with a representative from Legal Services battered spouse program." "They <br /> will be providing a description of the program and have questioned whether the Board <br /> would like thern to attend an upcoming meeting." <br />
