Ball. <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr, John T. Doherty, Chairman <br /> I ) Warrants signed. <br /> 2.) Mr. Cram motioned to accept the minutes of November 2, 1995, Mr. Ball <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 3.) Stop & Shop/Puri Shop/Purfty permit a lication <br /> Mr. Cram stepped down from this matter as he found it to be a conflict of interest. <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "The application was received in July or August along with a <br /> check which we are still currently holding." "The takeover was never consummated." <br /> "Should we request payment for a full year's application or should we accept what they <br /> have submitted for the next year." <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented, "I was unaware we received the application and check <br /> some time ago." "Had I been aware of it I would have processed and issued the permit to <br /> operate Purity at the time." "As we have waited this long I would recommend we issue a <br /> permit for 1996 and include the remaining months of 1995." <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "We never received any kind of formal notice of the takeover." <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "All permits should be acted on within a few days." "Whether <br /> we canceled it or processed it we should not have kept it this long." <br /> I <br /> i <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to approve a 1996 retail food and baker:, permit fort e <br /> company doing business as "Purity Supreme/Stop & Shop Supermarkets" said permits <br /> shall encompass the remainder of calendar year 1995, Mr. Doherty seconded. <br />
