New engineer re: 105 Waterline Drive - Mr. McQuaid relayed, c`This was before <br /> the Board in 1995 at which time the Board granted variances to the wetlands with the <br /> stipulation a denitrification system would be installed along with a u.v. unit." "We <br /> recently received a copy of a letter which was addressed to the Conservation Commission <br /> from a new engineer that was retained by the owner stating that a F.A.S_T would be <br /> installed however, there was no mention of a u.v. unit." "I would recommend the Board <br /> forward a letter to the engineer informing him variance relief was granted provided a u.v. <br /> unit was installed along with the denitrification system." <br /> Mr. Ball directed the agent to forward a letter to the engineer (M. Grotske) <br /> informing him of the Board's requirements. <br /> 7.) Solid Waste and Department budgets. F.Y. '99 - Mr. McQuaid recommended <br /> Board members review the budget. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Business Closure- Waste Management <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, `Bill Fedema at the Upper Cape Regional Transfer Station <br /> informed me Waste Management is selling their business to B.F.I. as of February 1, 1998." <br /> `Tor one month they will be operating without a license." <br /> Mr. Doherty commented, "In my opinion they should be fined." <br /> Mr. Cram commented, "I would recommend we contact them and question <br /> whether they intend to continue operating in town." <br /> Mr. Ball relayed, "I recommend we request full payment for the license fee." "If <br /> they do close we will then pro-rate the fee and return the $500.00 license fee." <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> Food establishment change in ownersIu Shortee's to Chef-D's <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "I inspected the establishment and found it to comply with <br /> State and local requirements." <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to grant a 1998 Food Establishment permit to "Chef-D's', <br /> Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br />
