Mr. Ball motioned to approve the minutes of June 11, 1998, Mr. Cram seconded. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to approve the minutes of June 18, 1998, Mr. Cram seconded. <br /> 3.) Copy of "Notice of Compliance", New_Seabury - Mr. McQuaid stated, "Mr. <br /> Sherman brought to my attention some erosion near the Tidewatch condominiums in New <br /> Seabury." "I inspected the site and there was definitely a problem with illegally dumped <br /> fill material that may have happened thirty years ago." "Mr. Sherman didn't get anywhere <br /> with Michael Grotske of New Seabury Engineering so I called D.E_P. and spoke with <br /> Athena Rodbell." "Nis. Rodbell went to the site and issued a "Notice of Non- <br /> compliance"." "Up to six test pits were drilled in the area last Monday." "Neither Mr. <br /> Sherman nor I were informed of the schedule." "We didn't witness it however, I received <br /> a call from Michael Grotske today saying that they were all surprised to find there was <br /> very little illegal fill dumped thirty or so feet below the ground surface." "It turned up <br /> there may be three to four feet on the eroding bank that New Seabury, according to <br /> Michael Grotske, will handle." "Athena Rodbell from D.E.P., according to Michael <br /> Grotske, is satisfied with that." <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Norman Hayes (BSC) - 9 Chart Way <br /> Mr. Hayes was not in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br />
