MINUTES July 2, 1998 4 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 9.) Emergency Failure certification 122 Whippoorwill Circle - Mr. McQuaid stated, <br /> "This was an emergency failure." "I required an engineered plan because it was close to <br /> the wetlands and there is groundwater involved." "The leach pit was found to be <br /> overflowing." "There was liquid at the tank outlet above the inlet." <br /> Board members forwarded their signature's to the "Emergency Repair <br /> Certification" form. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Variance request- 24 Captains Row <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "This is an engineered upgrade." "The existing three <br /> bedroom house is to be demolished and replaced with a new three bedroom house." <br /> "There will be a partial full basement which will be more than 20' from the leaching <br /> facility." "I have not had a chance to review the plans." "There are a lot of issues here <br /> including the topography." "I would recommend we continue this request until I have had <br /> a chance to review the plan." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to continue this matter pending the health agent's review of <br /> plans, Mr. Cram seconded. <br /> Emergency Repair Certification- 978 Route 28U <br /> Mr. Evans stated, "I inspected the site and found sewage backing up into the <br /> house." <br /> Board members forwarded their signature's to the "Emergency Repair <br /> Certification" form. <br /> Water Pollution Abatement Trust <br /> Mr. Cram forwarded his signature to the agreement. <br /> I <br /> i <br /> i <br /> I <br />
