TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> August 27, 1998 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Robert F. Cram, Sr. And Steven R. Ball <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Robert F. Cram, Chairman <br /> 1.) Warrants signed. <br /> 2.) The minutes of August 20, I998 were not prepared in time for this meeting. <br /> APPOINTMENT - BSS Design - Aunt Jane's Road <br /> Mr. Michael Grotske and Mr. Gary Eynatian (abutter) were in attendance for this <br /> scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Grotske stated, `BSS Design could not be here tonight." "We have had no <br /> further discussions with the abutter." "If you recall the original plan did not address wells <br /> but we identified the wells at the very first meeting but this well (Eynatian) we couldn't <br /> locate and we still haven't determined where the well is." "What the engineer did was <br /> determine where the well would be on the severe extremity of the subject property <br /> therefore, we get 100' setback from the property line." "Using the 100' setback from the <br /> property line we were able to accomplish septic locations for two lots (shown to the <br /> Board) however, lot K would become unbuildable so we located the system outside into <br /> the private way." "This septic would be designed to current Title V as opposed to the <br /> other grandfathered Title V systems." <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "Last week I did question whether taxes were paid on the <br /> properties." <br /> Mr. Grotske stated, "The taxes were not paid on some of these lots because the <br /> whole transfer of the New Seabury assets was not consummated." "At this point that's <br /> expected to be September I Ith when the final court hearing to resolve some outstanding <br />
