The minutes were continued until Mr. Doherty is in attendance. <br /> 3.) Massage license application, Sally Clemence - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Ms. <br /> Clemence has provided copies of her license from the town of Falmouth, certificate of <br /> insurance as a licensed massage therapist and has completed a program from the Dovestar <br /> Alchemian Institute." `'Due to there being only a few months left of this year, she is also <br /> requesting the Board consider incorporating her fee for this year into next year's." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant a massage therapist license to Sally Clemence, once the <br /> fee has been paid the permit shall be valid until December 31, 1999, Mr. Cram seconded. <br /> 4_) Letter from South Shore Scrap Metal - Mr. McQuaid stated, `Due to the <br /> economic turmoil overseas the market for scrap metal has diminished." "PK Contracting <br /> has stated in their letter they will be required to charge a fee per ton for scrap metal <br /> pickup until the markets increase." "Last week I went over to the newly opened <br /> Sandwich stump dump." "I happen to know the general manager and informed him about <br /> our recycling problem." "I intend to meet with him next week to discuss the matter." <br /> "Sandwich is accepting C & D at the same tipping fee as Bourne." "The travel time <br /> would be reduced by using the Sandwich company." <br /> Mr. McQuaid will research the matter further for comment at a later date. <br />
