t <br /> M NUTES October 8, 1998 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> APPOINTMENT: Chris Costa - Fratus Subdivision <br /> Mr. Christopher Costa was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Costa stated, "This is a road abandonment plan with two proposed lots of a <br /> old subdivision." "One lot consists of 3.5 acres and the other is 1.2 acres." "There will <br /> eventually be commercial operations on both lots." "I am unsure as to whether there a <br /> problem with the groundwater in that area?" <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "Potentially, because of the I Braydon Thompson plume." <br /> "Whatever businesses are proposed on these lots would have to have D.E.P. approved <br /> non-community wells." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to approve definitive plans for the Fratus two lot subdivision, <br /> Mr. Cram seconded. <br /> 5.) Invitation to Fire Department open house - Acknowledged. <br /> 6.) Emer enc Failure Certification 36 Lovells Lane and 7 Tus a uin Road <br /> 36 Lovells Lane - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "I inspected the site and found the cesspool <br /> nearly full." <br /> Board members forwarded their signature's to the "Emergency Repair <br /> Certification"form. <br /> 7 Tuspaquin Road - Mr. McQuaid stated, "The owner of the abutting property started <br /> putting in a fence post and hit a line to a cesspool." "He wants it immediately removed." <br /> "I spoke to both the owner of property who owns the cesspool and the abutter." "I feel, <br /> in this instance, that we should consider it an emergency failure because the abutter can <br /> shut that off right away and avoid the costs an engineer." <br /> Board members forwarded their signature's to the "Emergency Repair <br /> Certification"form. <br />
