TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> November 12, 1998 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Robert F. Cram, Sr., Steven R. Ball and John T. Doherty <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Robert F. Cram, Chairman <br /> 1.) Warrants signed. <br /> 2.) Mr. Doherty motioned to accept the minutes of October 1, 1998, Mr. Cram <br /> seconded. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of October 15, 1998, Mr. Cram seconded. <br /> 3.) D.E.P. Grant Award - Acknowledged. <br /> 4.) Selectmen's request to appear re: Landfill closure - Mr. Cram stated, "I am <br /> unable to attend the Selectmen's meeting due to a previous commitment." <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "I spoke with the Chairman, Mr. Marsters, who knew nothing <br /> about this letter." "I informed him, as far as I was concerned, we were not going to <br /> appear before the Selectmen to explain Tuesday's closing as we have already done so." <br /> Mr. Cram relayed, "I did prepare a written response to the Selectmen which I <br /> would like Board members to review." <br /> Mr. Ball commented, "The response is fine." <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The Selectmen will have the response in their box <br /> tomorrow." <br /> 5.) D.P.H. response to fish testing request - Mr. McQuaid stated, `Back in May I <br /> requested the D.P.H. to continue testing the fish in Johns, Ashumet and Mashpee/Wakeby <br />
