.MINUTES May 19, 1999 4 BOARD OF HEALTH
Mr. Esper responded, "There is not just a trailer being shipped, there is additional
equipment being shipped. Trucks, trailers..."
Mr. Cram stated, "Not my question, please."
Mr. Esper continued, "To be honest with you, I'm not at liberty to give you that
information."
Mr. Cram responded, "Fine."
Mr. Nick DiMaggio stated, "Would this be a situation where you are looking for
additional moneys to run the dump?"
Mr. Esper responded, "We're not looking for "additional moneys to run the dump",
we're looking for additional costs to cover the additional trailers."
Mr. Nick DiMaggio stated, "So you're looking for additional money."
Mr. Esper added, "Additional money. To cover the cost of the trailers, that's correct."
Mr. Nick DiMaggio stated, "Am I correct that this is a bid situation. I looked at my
father's reports and he put in a bid. If they want more money, as far as I can see, this
was a bid bonded situation and if they are going to exceed the bid..."
Mr. Cassanelli interjected, "We're only going by the specs in the RFP."
Mr. Esper added, "The RFP said two trailers."
Mr. Cram stated, "I think there needs to be some clarification on that."
Mr. Cassanelli stated, "The original RFP stated two trailers."
Mr. Ball added, "With a back-up."
Mr. Cram stated, "The original RFP that went out said three trailers."
Mr. Ball stated, "Well, that was changed. Correct?"
Mr. Cram responded, "Not by our choice."
I
Mr. Ball stated, "That's right. We all understand that."
Mr. Cram stated, "That's what I want to emphasize. I'm sorry. And that is based on
past experiences."
Mr. Esper stated, "But the original RFP was two trailers, is that correct?"
Mr. Cram responded, "No, the original was three, it was changed."
Mr. Esper stated, "The RFP that was bid on, was two trailers, is that correct?"
