i <br /> MINUTES June 3, 1999 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 4. Variance request: 23 Monomoscoy Road West <br /> Applicant is requesting a variance of 6' from the septic tank to the street <br /> property line; a 10'variance from the street line to the soil absorption system; a <br /> variance to locate the soil absorption system reserve within a private road; and <br /> an 8'variance from the soil absorption system to the non-habitat storage area <br /> level. Also being requested is a local variance of 45' from the soil absorption <br /> system to the salt marsh. A 2,000-gallon septic tank with a Micro-Fast <br /> treatment system is proposed. <br /> Mr. Ball requested that the applicant seal coat the foundation on both sides. <br /> Mr. Doherty requested that the applicant consider using ultraviolet light to <br /> address the problem of pathogens. <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to approve the variances as requested with an ultra-violet <br /> disinfecting system in conjunction with the Micro-Fast system and seal coating <br /> on both sides of the foundation. Mr. Doherty seconded the motion. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> APPOINTMENT Kevin Kirrane re: 42 Great River Road <br /> Mr. Kirrane was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. McQuaid gave a brief history of 42 Great River Road for the Board and Mr. <br /> Kirrane's benefit. <br /> I <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to abide by the Board's past decision to deny the request <br /> by the applicant to increase habitable living space at 42 Great River Road. Mr. <br /> Cram seconded the motion. <br /> I <br /> Variance request: 44 Little Neck Lane <br /> Applicant is requesting a local variance of 6' from. the soil absorption system to <br /> the wetlands and a local variance of 10' from the reserve soil absorption system <br /> I <br /> to the wetlands. <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to grant the local variances of 6'from the.soil absorption <br /> system to the wetlands and a local variance of 10'from the reserve soil <br /> absorption system to the wetlands. Mr. Doherty seconded the motion. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Emergencv Failure Certification- 555 Cotuit Road <br /> Mr. McQuaid noted that the leach pit is full to the risers and installation of 2 <br /> 500-gallon drywells with 2' of stone is recommended. Board members <br /> forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure Certification form. <br />
