TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> December 9, 1999 <br /> Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Steven R. Ball, Robert F. Cram, Sr., Elias A. McQuaid and Veronica <br /> A. Mayer <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING; IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> 1. Sign warrants. Warrants signed. <br /> 2. Approve Minutes of August 12 1999 October 7 1999 and November 1$ 1999 <br /> and December 2 1999 meetings <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to approve the minutes of August 12, 1999. Mr. Ball <br /> seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> The remainder of minutes were held until a full Board is present. <br /> 3. Year 2000 Fee Schedule <br /> 4. Memo from Recycling Committee re: cardboard roll-off <br /> The Recycling Committee is recommending that a container for corrugated <br /> cardboard be placed at the Mashpee transfer station recycling center in order to <br /> institute a recycling program for cardboard in Mashpee. <br /> Mrs. Mayer indicated that she is in the process of researching prices for hauling <br /> cardboard and would report back to the Board with competitive pricing when it <br /> is available. <br /> Board members voiced their support for the implementation of a cardboard <br /> recycling program. <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to lease one roll off container for corrugated cardboard only <br /> at a reasonable price to be determined by Mrs. Mayer. Mr. Ball seconded the <br /> motion. Motion passed. <br /> 5. Variance Requests: <br /> 14 Lady Slipper Lane <br /> The applicant is requesting a variance of 8' from the primary leachingPi tle 3j <br /> well at Lot 100, a variance of 30' from the reserve leaching to th f Weil Lo 110 <br /> and a variance of 6' from the reserve leaching to the well at Lot 109.Y�` .213 <br /> - si 's1 <br />
