r MINUTES April 13, 2000 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to reduce the transfer sticker price from $55.00 to $25.00 <br /> from April 1st to July 1st each year. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> d. Memo to Watershed Management Committee <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> a. Review of 266 Monomoscy Road and 133 Tide Run <br /> Board members were provided with information on these two files in order to <br /> prepare for appointments the following week. <br /> b. Illegal Dumnin — Great Hay Road <br /> Mr. Richard Thomas was in attendance for this agenda item. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated that the Board of Health was in the process of issuing <br /> violations for the illegal dumping incident on Great Hay Road. However, the <br /> party that owned the material that was dumped had been in the office on a <br /> number of occasions recently to speak with Ms. Warden. <br /> Ms. Warden detailed the illegal dumping incident and asked for the Board's <br /> decision on how to proceed. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to fine Five-Star and Richard Thomas $300 each for illegal <br /> dumping. Mr. Cram seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> C. DEP Poligy_re: Dino's & Deer Crossing Market & Deli <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated that both Dino's and Deer Crossing Market & Deli have <br /> requested a variance to Title V for fast food restaurants and the Board had <br /> approved those variances pending DEP concurrence. He further stated that the <br /> DEP will not issue a written response to this issue. Board members expressed <br /> frustration that the DEP would not issue the written letter since their decision <br /> was conditional upon the receipt of the letter. <br /> Mr. Ball stated that he would like to have this item continued to the next <br /> meeting with a full Board present. <br /> Being no further business, Mr. Ball motioned to adjourn this meeting at 8:45 p.m., Mr. <br /> Cram seconded, all agreed. <br /> Res ectfu submitted, <br /> Lucy B.
