MINUTES June 29, 2000 4 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mrs. Campbell stated that the house has always been used as a three-bedroom home. <br /> Mr. Doherty stated that there is a very clear paper trail stating that the house has <br /> been used as a three-bedroom home and has been assessed as a three-bedroom home. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the variances as requested in a cover letter from <br /> Baxter, Nye & Holmgren, Inc. dated June 22, 2000. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> 5. Variance requests: <br /> 26 Waterway <br /> The applicant is requesting a variance of 8' from the septic tank to the street <br /> property line, a variance of 10' from the soil absorption system and reserve to <br /> the street property line, a variance of 12' from the soil absorption system to the <br /> dwelling cellar wall and a variance of 13' from the soil absorption system to the <br /> dwelling cellar wall. <br /> Discussion took place regarding the location of the perc test and the location of <br /> the proposed septic system. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to continue this agenda item until a perc test is <br /> performed in the correct location. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> 37 Nick Trail (re-submission) <br /> Applicant is requesting a variance of 5' from the soil absorption system to the <br /> property line, a variance of 17' from the soil absorption system to the cellar wall <br /> and a variance of 3' from the septic tank to the property line. <br /> Board members discussed the variances being requested and the plan <br /> presented to them. They continued to question the issues of the water line <br /> being on the adjacent lot and the fact that the variances being requested were <br /> inaccurate. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to continue this agenda item until the engineer could <br /> come before the Board to present the plans and variance request. Mr. Santos <br /> seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> 6. Emergengy Failure Certification -- 67 Riverside Road en ' eered plans <br /> required) <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated that this project would require engineered plans due to <br /> probable high groundwater and wetlands proximity. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 7. Solid Waste Contract Renewal FY'OI <br /> Mr. Ball stepped down from discussion on this matter. <br />
