TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> July 20, 2000 <br /> Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> Members present: Steven R. Ball, John T. Doherty, L. Glenn Santos, Elias A. McQuaid <br /> and Veronica A. Warden <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING; IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> I. Sign warrants. Warrants signed. <br /> 2. Approve Minutes of June 22, 2000 (if available) <br /> No minutes were available for approval. <br /> 3. Letter of resignation -- Jim Chisholm <br /> Mr. Santos motioned to accept the resignation of Mr. Chisholm from the <br /> Recycling Committee. Mr. Doherty seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> 4. Spring 2000 Landfill Environmental Report <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated that Weston & Sampson are recommending the <br /> replacement of a damaged well and that Roger Alcott of Weston & Sampson has <br /> been requested to come to the office to explain the current invoice and report. <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> 5. Memo Town Planner re: Nitrogen Imi2act Stud <br /> j Board acknowledged. <br /> 6. Variance request 17 Summersea Road <br /> The applicant is requesting a variance of 5' from the active soil absorption <br /> system to the street property line due to the recommendation by the New <br /> Seabury Architectural Review Committee so that the vegetation on the corner of <br /> Summersea Lane and Summersea Road will remain undisturbed. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to deny the requested variance due to a lack of necessity. <br /> Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion to deny passed. <br /> i <br />
