MINUTES October 5, 2000 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> BLF Nominee Trust (600 Main Street) <br /> Board members opted to discuss this project with the engineering firm when <br /> they arrive for their scheduled appointment with the Board later in this <br /> meeting. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> a. Quashnet Valley Condominiums <br /> Mr. John Michaels of the Quashnet Valley Condominium Association submitted <br /> a request to the Board to be considered as a residential community instead of a <br /> commercial business for trash removal purposes. <br /> Ms. Warden stated that the.Board has approved these requests in the past. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to approve the request by Quashnet Valley Condominiums <br /> pending the receipt of the trash tonnage calculations from BFI and reviewed by <br /> Mr. McQuaid. Mr. Doherty seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> b. Memo from Town Clerk <br /> Ms. Dami submitted a request to the Board to vote on her proposal to use a <br /> mail-in program for the transfer station stickers for fiscal year 2002. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to approve the mail-in program for transfer station <br /> sticker sales for fiscal year 2002. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> C. Housing Inspection - Redwood Circle <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated that a tenant in a home on Redwood Circle has requested a <br /> housing inspection to check on unnamed housing code violations. Mr. <br /> McQuaid and Ms. Warden are very familiar with the tenant at this home and <br /> have requested that she submit a written request for the inspection outlining <br /> the code violations and that she also submit proof of legal tenancy before they <br /> go to the home to conduct the inspection. Mr. McQuaid further stated that he <br /> would like the Board to approve his requests of the tenant and his request to <br /> have the Barnstable County Department of Health and the Environment <br /> conduct the inspection. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to approve the request by Mr. McQuaid to have the <br /> tenant submit her request for a housing inspection in writing outlining the <br /> housing code violations, proof of legal tenancy and to have Barnstable County <br /> conduct the inspection. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Kent Haven re: 5 Aries Lane <br /> Mr. Keith Duquette on behalf of Mr. Haven was in attendance for this scheduled <br /> appointment. <br /> The applicant is requesting an extension of the septic permit for a three bedroom <br /> home at 5 Aries Lane due to the ill health of his mother. <br />
