MINUTES October 5, 2000 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 5. Emergency Failure Certification <br /> 57 HackingCircle <br /> ircle <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated that both cesspools were full (1 services 3 bathrooms) <br /> and that the installation of a 1500-gallon tank, distribution box and 2 500- <br /> gallon drywells is necessary. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 15 By the Green Wa <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated that the cesspool was full. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 34 Rainbow Lane <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated that the leach pit was full and the installation of a <br /> distribution box and 1 1000-gallon pit with 3' of stone (no room for drywells) <br /> was necessary. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 5 Overlook Knoll <br /> Mr. McQuaid indicated that the flow diffusers were no longer leaching and that <br /> the soils were saturated. The installation of 11000-gallon 6x6 pit with 3' of <br /> stone was necessary due to the lot constraints (with sideline variance). <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 6. Variance request - 59 DEy Hollow Lane <br /> A request was submitted by Robert A. Comeau of 58 Dry Hollow Lane, Mashpee <br /> requesting that the Board consider granting a variance to enable the <br /> homeowner to put an addition 2' from the septic tank. A plan showing the <br /> proposed addition and the location of the septic tank was submitted. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the variance to allow for an addition within 2' of <br /> the septic tank at 59 Dry Hollow Lane with the stipulation that the homeowner <br /> submit a revised cover letter clarifying the distance as 2' instead of 2". Mr. Ball <br /> seconded the motion: Motion passed. <br /> 7. Preliminary subdivision plans <br /> Kirsner (Great Neck/Old Barnstable Roads <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to approve the preliminary subdivision plan for Great <br /> Neck Road/Old Barnstable Road (Kirner Trust). Mr. Ball seconded the motion. <br /> Motion passed. <br />
