MINUTES April 13, 2000 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Discussion then took place regarding the requests by Coastal Waste <br /> Management for repair and maintenance work at the transfer station.. <br /> Ms. Warden informed the Board members that these items were discussed at <br /> the Selectmen's meeting this week. The tire trailer and repair of the washed out <br /> area behind the recycling area were approved. The hydroseeding proposal will <br /> be forwarded to Department of Public Works Director, Greg Taylor, to see if that <br /> department can do the work at a reasonable cost. The mowing of the capped <br /> landfill is awaiting one more quote before any decision can be finalized. Ms. <br /> Warden-is still currently working the waste oil burner proposal and she,will <br /> forward her results to the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Health upon <br /> completion. Ms. Warden further stated that the Board of Health has $15.000 in <br /> the transfer station maintenance account for this fiscal year that has not been <br /> earmarked for any particular projects yet. <br /> Mr. Ball stated that he would like to see local landscaping companies quote on <br /> the mowing of the capped landfill project. Mr. Santos stated that he would like <br /> to be sure that any local company that takes on this project has the appropriate <br /> insurance. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Fred Blythe re: Mashpee Cemetery Approval <br /> Mr. Blythe was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Blythe presented the Board with plans for the new Mashpee Cemetery and <br /> requested that the Board approves the cemetery use and allows for the burial of <br /> deceased human beings at the site. <br /> Mr. Santos motioned to approve land referenced as map 89 parcel 1 as a cemetery for <br /> the town of Mashpee. Mr. Doherty seconded.the motion. Motion passed. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to waive all Board of Health fees related to the construction of <br /> the cemetery at the site listed above. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> 4. Special Permit Preliminary Review -- Ronald Gangemi/Alexander Watt,_Esq <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to approve Planning Board Special Permit plans as <br /> submitted for Ronald P. Gangemi at 81 Echo Road. Mr. Santos seconded the <br /> motion. Motion passed. <br /> 5. Definitive Subdivision plan -- Haystack Realty Trust <br /> Mr. Ball noted that the plan submitted isn't technically correct due to the <br /> recent town meeting vote. <br /> Board members agreed to continue this agenda item until a corrected plan is <br /> submitted. <br /> i <br />
