MINUTES April 13, 2000 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 6. Preliminary Subdivision Plan -- BLF Nominee Trust(600 Main Street) <br /> Mr. Santos motioned to approve the preliminary subdivision plan as submitted <br /> for BLF Nominee Trust at 600 Main Street. Mr. Doherty seconded the motion. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> a. Redwood Circle tenant - Ms. Warden updated Board members regarding a <br /> tenant situation on Redwood Circle. She stated that the landlord went to court <br /> and received an emergency vacate order and restraining order against the <br /> tenant. No housing inspection was conducted at the property due to the fact <br /> that the tenant was removed from the property and is no longer living there. <br /> b. Confidentiality - Discussion took place regarding confidentiality and <br /> communicable diseases. Board members decided no action would be taken on <br /> this issue at this time. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> a. Emergency Failure Certification: <br /> 29 Highland Avenue <br /> Ms. Warden indicated that the cesspool was full and that the installation of 4 <br /> cement infiltrators with 3' of stone would be required. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> b. Complaint - 135 Route 130 (DiMaggio) <br /> (Mr. Doherty stepped down from discussion on this issue.) <br /> Ms. Warden stated that a situation had recently been brought to her attention <br /> regarding the service station at 135 Route 130. She has requested that Sean <br /> O'Brien, Environmental Specialist for Barnstable County Department of Health <br /> and the'Environment, come and inspect the property and notify the Board of <br /> any environmental or health concerns so that Ms. Warden can report to the <br /> Board of Selectmen, as requested, on October 30th. <br /> Mr. Ball stated that he supports Ms. Warden's decision to have Barnstable <br /> County conduct the inspection and ensuing follow-up <br /> C. Request for help <br /> Ms. Warden forwarded a memo to the Town Administrator requesting office <br /> assistance during the extended medical leave by Health Agent Elias McQuaid. <br /> d. Natural Resource Committee <br /> Mr. Santos stated that an alternate member to the Natural Resources <br /> Committee is needed from the Board of Health. Mr. Ball volunteered to be the <br /> alternate on the committee. <br /> i <br /> j <br />
