UPPER CAPE REGIONAL TRANSFER STATION <br /> Rules and Regulations <br /> November 1988 Draft <br /> Authorized Vehicles: <br /> Only haulers licensed by the Boards of Health in Sandwich, Mashpee and Fal- <br /> mouth will be allowed on Base. All trucks shall also be registered with <br /> Department of Defense Security Police and shall have all required insurance <br /> coverage, applicable Town permits, and Town stickers. <br /> Vehicles using the Transfer Station will be packer trucks, transfer trailers, <br /> roll-off containers, and six-wheel trucks. Adequate containment to prevent any <br /> material from leaving the container must be in place before the container <br /> enters the Base. After December 31,_ 1989 six-wheel trucks will not be 1ermit- <br /> ted on Base. <br /> Each vehicle shall carry a number, at least 4" high, on the front bumper and <br /> on the rear wall. Each vehicle must display the company name. Each vehicle <br /> will be given a colored sticker by the Board of Health in the Town(s) in which <br /> it is registered, to be placed on the left front bumper. <br /> The Massachusetts Adjutant General or his designee has the authority to deny <br /> any vehicle or person access to the Base. <br /> Routes: <br /> All vehicles shall enter the Base as follows and shall exit by reverse route. <br /> There will be no deviations. <br /> SANDWICH AND North MASHPEE: -- Approach via Snake Pond Road <br /> Enter Sandwich Gate - South on Greenway Road, Northwest on Herbert Road, South <br /> on Shelton Road, around 1/2 of Rotary to South on West Outer Road, South on <br /> Guenther Road, East on South Truck Road to South on Generals' Blvd. to Trans- <br /> fer Station (3.3 miles). <br /> MASHPEE AND FALMOUTH: -- Approach via Route 151 and Sandwich Road ONLY <br /> -- Currier Road cannot be used as a short cut. <br /> Enter Falmouth Gate - North on Simpkins Road, West on Kittridge Road, North on <br /> Generals' Blvd. to Transfer Station (2 miles). See attached map. <br /> All vehicles shall observe posted speed limits and other Base Regulations. <br /> Speed is 40 mph unless otherwise posted. Violations will be reported to the <br /> Transfer Station Supervisor by the Security Police for action as follows <br /> during each calendar year: <br />
