First Offense: Written warning to the company. <br /> Second Offense: Fine of $ 50.00 <br /> Third Offense: Fine of $200.00 <br /> All Haulers transporting solid waste to the Transfer Station will be assessed <br /> a penalty for littering. Citations by Security Police will be give to the <br /> Transfer Station Supervisor for action as follows during each calendar year: <br /> First Offense: Fine of $ 50.00 <br /> Second Offense: Fine of $100.00 <br /> Third Offense: Fine of $200.00 <br /> Any additional offenses will result in a hearing before the Board of Managers <br /> and/or revocation of permission to use the Transfer Station. <br /> Daily Operations: <br /> Transfer Station will accept solid waste Monday through Saturday between 8:15 <br /> A. M. and 4:00 P.M., holidays included except, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving <br /> Day and Christmas. The Transfer Station will be closed from 11:45 A.M. to <br /> 12:30 P.M. for Lunch. <br /> All loads shall be weighed and recorded as to origin as stated by the driver . <br /> No mixed town loads will be allowed. All loads shall be checked on the tipping <br /> floor for unacceptable solid waste and for verification of origin of load. <br /> Drivers of vehicles shall be responsible for removing unacceptable solid <br /> waste. Trucks and drivers must wait until their load has been checked and <br /> cleared. <br /> Any packer load found to contain trash from more than one member town or from <br /> a non-member town must be removed. The packer company will be notified of a <br /> hearing before the Board of Managers and/or revocation of permission to use <br /> the Transfer Station. <br /> Haulers will be allowed to leave a container at an assigned place at the <br /> transfer station site for the purpose of holding items of unacceptable solid <br /> waste, provided the container is locked, maintained in good condition, and <br /> emptied as needed. <br />
