There are delays in minutes <br />being posted as well as issues with content or length. <br /> <br />The Mashpee Enterprise spanning from 1994-2008 is now available online through Boston <br />Public Library’s digital commonwealth and is comprised of 1,500 documents. Money was <br />allocated at a Town Meeting years ago for a multi-step process to convert everything from <br />reels to digital. It was shut down for some time during COVID, which caused a delay. <br /> <br />FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY LIAISON REPORT <br />There will be a meeting tomorrow to discuss fundraising. Their last meeting was their Annual <br />Meeting. Ruth Nickerson was present. They voted in their new board members and are really <br />striving to expand their reach in the community right now. Friends made a $20,000 donation to <br />Ms. Mahoney and the Mashpee Public Library. <br /> <br />TRUSTEEE OUTREACH AND ADVOCACY <br />The Town needs volunteers for committees, it was thought to run a volunteer expo. Kathy <br />Mahoney stated the Town Manager agreed to set up a couple of training sessions pertaining to <br />Open Meeting Law for Chair’s and Department Heads. There is new Town Counsel so a <br />representative from KP Law will be present.
