• - CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING
Wednesday, March 26, 1980
Present:
Pauline DeLory, Chairperson
Dorothy G. Studley, Vice Chairperson
Wayne Tavares
Richard Cohen
The meeting was called to order at 7:50 p.m.
Joseph T. Raduano
Agent: Eldredge Engineering, Hyannis
Submitted by: Robert Bunikis
Pauline: Reads Notice of Intent -- to construct a docking facility and swimming pool
in addition to present dwelling in accordance with plans on file with the Conservation
Commission.
Robert Bunikis: The docking facility for Mr. Raduano's boats is designed in such a
manner that one of the boats that he owns requires approximately three feet of water
at low tide. (Shows on map the contour line of depth which is 9' off the end of the
floats) This is nearly a carbon copy of a pier that does exist at this moment. It is
Mr. Singer's pier, which is fully licensed, as indicated in my small locust plan. It
is a little shorter than this and the reason it is shorter, I believe, is because you
find a little deeper water down here and a shorter distance from shore. Also, we are
- asking for a swimming pool and an addition which become a den. I might add one thing.
Mr. Raduano has just this evenin informed me that he would also like a two-car garage
(shows where it is to be locateZ. Could we include that also in our request?
Pauline: You would have to submit a revised plan with that on it.
Mr. Bunikis: I could do that very easily.
Dick: On the left side?
Mr. Bunikis: Explains where it will go -- in the area where the driveway comes up. It
is the only place we could put it because we would be too close to the property line on
the other side.
Dick: Approximately how wide would it be?
Mr. Raduano: Twenty feet wide.
Mr. Bunikis: Twenty feet wide and twenty-two feet deep, which is the normal demension
for a two-car garage.
Pauline: Any other questions?
Dorothy: Is there an alternate place for the swimming pool to be placed rather than on
that front bank?
Mrs. Raduano: That is the back of our house. The front of our house faces the water.
Mr. Bunikis: It would certainly be the most desirable location for the property of this
nature.
