Minutes of the Meeting of the Mashpee Americans with Disabilities Act Committee, <br /> April 12, 2007 <br /> i. <br /> The Mashpee Americans with Disabilities Act Committee met Thursday, April 12, 2007 <br /> at Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room#2. <br /> Members in attendance: <br /> William Dundon(co-chair) <br /> Marilyn Farren <br /> Charles Maintanis <br /> Trish Parolski <br /> Merton Sapers <br /> The minutes of the March 8, 2007 meeting were reviewed and approved. <br /> Parking Enforcement Pro am <br /> Mert Sapers reports that the Parking Control Officers were out today and did parts of <br /> Mashpee towards Hyannis, a part of Route 130 and Route 28. They did a stretch of about <br /> 1.5 miles from the center and found nothing illegal. Mert and his partner will be <br /> checking every Thursday in this area. <br /> It was noted that it is $200 a ticket. It has been posted in the newspaper twice and on the <br /> cable channel under the Town Regulations. Mert suspects that they will see more <br /> violations in the summer. There are fifteen people now on the committee. Trish wished <br /> that they could channel the money towards the A.D.A. needs. <br /> Concert Parking <br /> Trish advised that there has been a mailing for the concert and that the whole parking lot <br /> will remain open and that there will be no special parking in the Commons area. There <br /> are no restrictions at any point in time all day. <br /> Planning and Construction Committee Activities <br /> Trish advised that the Planning and Construction Committee wrapped up the issue of <br /> library funding. The article for additional funding will be another couple million. There <br /> are two petitions that have been taken off the warrant as part of the negotiation for the <br /> school budget. Pomroy &Associates has been hired and a gentleman has been coming to <br /> the meetings. A sub-committee is looking at R.F.Q.'s and this must be submitted by <br /> Friday. In the next few weeks,they will select an architect. Trish says it is all very <br /> interesting. The fire sub-station seems to be moving forward. <br />
