r MASHPEE BOARD of ASSESSORS MINUTES OF FEBRU RI 15 , 1994 . PRESENT: LESLIE M. GREIG, CHAIRMAN KENNETH A. PORTER, VICE CHAIRMAN ROBERT R, DELORY, CLERK DAVID A.. BAILEY, DIREC'T'OR OF ASSESSING The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Greig at : o p. . MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS Minutes of The Meeting of December 28 , 1993 Board Members reviewed The Minutes at length. There was no discussion; there were no corrections nor revisions . Kenneth Porter made motion The Board accept The Minutes of The Meeting of December 28, 1993 as printed; Robert DeLory made second the motion; motion passed; unanimous decision. The Minutes were accepted by The Board* ir Minutes of The Meeting of January 4 , 1994 Vice Chairman Porter referred to Page 4 . Lust Paragraph, Last Sentence regarding unbuildable properties. He questioned the validity of the data to be supplied, and if previous data exists . Chairman Greig informed that he has thoroughly reviewed his list of "U" Properties , which were orally validated by The Building Inspector. Mr, Porter stated that The Board has found many properties buildable, which The Building Inspector had declared otherwise by submitting documentation which proved faulty. Chairman Greig informed that The Inspector has a communication from Town Counsel ; David Bailey will request Susan to screen The List of "U" Properties" . especially for contiguous ownership, which will be submitted to The Building Inspector for his written validity i.e. buildable - non buildable. The list is massive; he may never be able to go through all of properties . i Mr . Bailey agreed this procedure is all that can transpire at present. Lengthy discussion followed. Chairman Greig expressed opinion The Board has authority to argue any of The Building Inspector ' s judgments. David Bailey pointed out the list consists of 18 pages ; many properties are Open Space and many are Town Owned. He recommended that the List be reviewed for contiguous lots, many of which are Marshland; then, male a separate list of these findings and submit it to The Inspector. Vince Chairman Porter expressed agreement.
