DeLOr , CHAIRMAN <br /> KENNETH A. PORTER, CLERK{ <br /> ABSENT:T: LE L,IE M. GREIG, VICE CHAIRMAN <br /> DAVID A. BAILEY, DIRECTOR OF ASSESSING <br /> The regular ar meeting was called to order by Chairman DeLory <br /> t 6 :25 p.m. <br /> MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS <br /> Minutes of The Meeting of July10 , 199 <br /> Chairman DeLory presented 'the minutes" for review, <br /> discussion, and approval . Board Members reviewed "theminutes" <br /> at length. <br /> Kenneth Porter referred to Paces 2 , 3 , and 4 ; he stated that <br /> "the minutes" were comprised mostly of David Bailey ' s update on <br /> the progress of the upcoming revaluation and was satisfied and <br /> complacent that Dave Bailey and Steve Fererria are doing well. . <br /> He expressed opinion they have matters well in hand while waiting <br /> for Ms. Susan Moynihan of the D.O.R. to come into the Assessing <br /> Department to evaluate the progress and to determine at what <br /> stage the revaluation. preprtion should now be. <br /> Chairman DeLory stated that Mr, Bailey ' s update on the <br /> progress of the upcoming revaluation is a very comprehensive <br /> report. Kenneth Porter expressedagreement; he expressed opinion <br /> they have a handle on where some o ' the problems are, and they do <br /> not appear to be unusual problems that cannot be overcome. <br /> Chairman DeLory pointed out that the commercial and <br /> industriatl portions of the revaluation remain to be done so that <br /> preparation of the tax bills can be started. Mr. Porter referred <br /> to Pace 4 .. Paragraph 2 o "the mi Utes" , which state that Mr. <br /> Robert Trembley will be coming to Mashpee within the next two <br /> weeks . He expressed opinion that Assessing- is in. much better <br /> shape this year than last year concerning property values and tax <br /> bill preparation. <br />
