GREIG, VICE CHAIRMAN <br /> KENNETH A. PORTER, CLERK <br /> LATE <br /> ARRIVAL: DAVID A. BAILEY, DIRECTOR OF ASSESSING <br /> The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman DeLory <br /> at 6 : 04 p.m. <br />{ Chairman De ory announced that the Board of Assessors ' <br /> meetings have been changed from Monday evenings to Tuesday <br /> evenings . <br /> Chairman DeLory also announced that David Bailey may be late <br /> for this meeting; he is presently attending a Town of Mashpee <br /> Employees ' Union meeting. <br /> MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS <br /> Minutes of The Meeting of October 10 , 1995 <br /> All Board Members reviewed The Minutes at length, There was <br /> no discussion ' nor corrections. <br /> Kenneth Porter made motion The Board accept The Minutes of <br /> The Meeting of October 2 , 19 9 5 , as printed; Leslie Greig made <br /> second the motion- motion passed; unanimous decision. The <br /> Minutes were accepted by The Board. i <br /> OLD/NETT SI i <br /> Clause 1 - General Discussion <br /> Chairman DeLorr introduced the matter. He informed that <br /> several days ago, Board Members reviewed the paragraph relevant <br /> to Clause 18 in the Massachusetts Municipal Laws . He pointed out <br /> that no information was found in regard to age requirement. <br /> Lengthy discussion followed. All Board Meimbers agreed that in <br /> some appeals for tax payment relief under Clause 18 , Board <br /> decisions are made difficult because age is not defined in the <br /> law this has created a. problem. <br />
