NOTE: The Mashpee Board of Assessors did not hold Regular Board Meeting on Tuesday, June 17 , 1997 . MASHPEE BOARD of ASSESSORS MINUTES of JUNE 24r 1997 PRESENT: LESLIE M. CREIC, CHAIRMAN KENNETH A. PORTER, VICE CHAIRMAN MARCIA R. KING, CLERK DAVID A. BAILEY, DIRECTOR OF ASSESSING The regular meeting was held in the Assessing Department ' s new offices located in the newly renovated Town Mall , Mashpee,, Massachusetts . The meeting was called to order by Chairman Greig at 6:12 p.m. MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS Minutes of The Meeting of May 27 , 1997 w Board Members reviewed the "minutes" at length. There was no discussion, nor were there any corrections. Vice Chairman Porter made motion The Board accept The Minutes of The Meeting of May 27 , 1997 as printed; Marcia King made second the motion; notion passed; unanimous decision. The Minutes were accepted by The Board. � r NEW BUSINESS Discussion on Departmental Goals - Memo to Board o Assessors from David Bailey Dated June 18 , 1997 David Bailey explained that the Performance Plan attached to the aero both are -attached to These Minutes will be used to list items and coals that Assessing would like t achieve. The form was handed out at the last Department Bead Meeting to be completed and submitted at the next meeting; Robert Whritenour will then present the forms from each department to the Board of Selectmen. Hopefully by then, we will have the weight o the Town behind urs on any of these mems that we wish to achieve. (A list of six priority iters for Assessing is also attached to These Minutes , ) Lengthy discussion followed. Vice Chairman Porter referred to Item #4 - ma.p ing. He questioned the status . Mr. Bailey explained that the Federal. Government is not buying anything at present. Be sloes have a list of prices, and the bidders are reach- we can get anything we want, but we do not want to pay full price. David Hailey is waiting for information that he should receive by this Friday .
