NOTE. The Mashpee Board of Assessors did not hold Board Meetings during the month of July , 1997 . Board Meetings were not held on the Tuesdays of August 5 , 121 and 19 , nor on the Tuesday of September 2 , 1997 . The scheduled Board Meeting of August 12 was cancelled, MASHPEE BOARD OF ASSESSORS MINUTES of AUGUST 26v 1997 I PRESENT: LESLIE M. BAILEYj DIRECTOR OF ASSESSING The regular meeting was held in the Assessing Department ' s new offices located in the newly renovated Town Hall , Mashpee, Massachusetts . The meeting was called to order by Chairman Greig t 6 : 05 p.m. MINUTES of THE MEETINGS:. Minutes of The Meet-in2 of June 10 , 199 2 The "minutes" had been previously reviewed by Board Members and David Bailey. There was no discussion, nor were there any corrections . Vice Chairman Porter made motion The Board accept The Minutes of The Meeting of June 10 , 1997 , as printed; Marcia King rade second the motion; motion passed; unanimous decision. The Minutes were accepted by The Board. NEW BUSINESS Article for Fall Town Meeting October 1997 Chairman Greig presented the written article prepared by David Bailey dated July 16, 1997 . copy is attached to These minutes . The article reads as follows To see if the Town will transfer 2 , 000 from the Overlay Surplus Account to the Assessor ' s Devaluation Account. Mr. Greig informed that the article has already been submitted to the Executive Secretary ' s office; the article needs a formal vote by the Board of Assessors . Discussion followed.
