Appellate Tax Court Case Pending. ohima, Inc., owners of the Harborside Nursing <br /> Hoare in Mashp e, is the only appellate tax court case p nding. A scheduling for a <br /> hearing has been received for some time in April, 2008, to be heard by the Appellate Tax <br /> 'Board. Jason Streebel stated that he will submit another interrogative request to the <br /> attorney asking for the remaining missing information. If the information is not received, . <br /> Jason Streebel will ask that the Town attorney have the case dismissed. Next bear's Tax Bills. .Jason Streebel stated that he has been tasked to find a way <br /> to have the preliminary tax bills that go out actually represent one fourth of the previous <br /> year's takes. Currently the tax bills that go out are one fourth of the assessed values, <br /> which means that any betterments, special assessments or fees are not appearing on <br />
