New seabury Golf Club Summary <br /> Jason Streebel stated that taking New Seabury Golf Club out 6f chapter means <br /> financially to the Town $115,301.31 in neve growth, using the previous year's tax rate. In <br /> Fly '09 New Seabury will be taxed using the new tax rate, which will increase the new <br /> growth figure. <br /> 2* Torn MOM na n— -Month Anniversary <br /> Tour McManamanrs 6 month.probationary period will end on 7/20/08. Mason Streebel <br /> stated that Tom's performance has been-e cellent, and he will recommend him for a <br /> permanent full time position. <br /> 3. Assistant Director of Assessing Position i <br /> Eight applications for the Assistant Director of Assessing position have been teoei ed. <br /> Jason Streebel stated that there were a number of Appraisers who applied, as well as <br /> some applicants with assessing experience,fence, others with none. Because it is a part time <br /> position now, the pool of applicants will be more diversified. Jason Streebel hopes to <br /> begin interviews with the applicants next week. <br /> i <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> No old business. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Jason Streebel reported a request from the Tax Collector/Treasurer for a transfer of <br /> funds from the overlay account to cover approved property tax abatements. <br /> . A motion was made, seconded and passed to approve a transfer of funds from the <br /> overlay account to Corer the approved property tax abatements. <br />
