The Following was on the agenda: <br /> Mr. .James Kordis of Lot 48 Captains Row, Pirates Cove, carne before the Board <br /> o request the Committee to help them in Filling out their Notice of Intent <br /> Form. They plan to build a. new home on the foundation where their present <br /> house is located. Their existing home will be moved to a lot on Mashpee Neck <br /> Road. The new home will be the same size -- 8' x 49' with a full basement. <br /> It will have three: bedrooms. They here been to the building inspector and <br /> were informed ed that there would be no problems in building in the samefounda- <br /> tion. They currently h"e a cesspool. Charlie advised them to get a new <br /> septic system and to come into the Board of Health with their plans. Charlie <br /> asked if the house could be moved away from the grater, but Mr. Kordis stated <br /> that he wanted to keep the house in line with the other homes in the develop- <br /> ment. Wayne stated that he knew the area and that all the homes were about <br /> the same being 5 to 6 f eet to the road and approximately 10 to 12 Feet to the <br /> beach. <br /> Extension Permits <br /> Bennett E. Gordon, 60 Bowsprit Point, Ia. hpe 0+3-130) <br /> An extension permit was issued to fir. Gordon for a one-gear extension on the <br /> above lot. <br /> J.-R.U. Realty, luashnet Valley Country Club, Mashpee (sE43-16) <br /> Mr. .John Umina, Jr. came before the Board to request ars extension permit for <br /> his father's golf course. A letter was received dated June 9,- 1981, From John <br /> Umina, Sr. stating that he is under agreement to sell the golf course. The <br /> Board voted that the extension will be issued contingent upon receiving inf rma. <br /> tion required in Section 13 and Section 14 of the Order of Conditions. A letter <br /> was seat to Mr. Umina on June 11, 1981, informing them of the Boar's decision, <br /> Popponesset Beach Restoration <br /> letter was received from Selectwoman Thomas dated June 40 1981 stating that <br /> there are problems with vandalism on Popponesset Beach. Individuals are breaking <br /> apart the fencing to use for firewood for beach parties, Selectwoman Thomas sug. <br /> Bested that a meeting be held sponsored by the Conservation Commission to explain <br /> ghat the Town is trying to accomplish. The Boar discussed the situation and the <br /> general Feeling of the members was that the patrolling of the beach is a police <br /> matter and' tha.t it was rip to them to enforce the vandalism laws. <br />
