, f MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION :FETING of APRIL 258 1984 MAS PEE TOWN HALL The following members of the Ma shpee Conservation commission were present : Chairman Dorothy Studley, Vice Chairman Pauline De Lo ry, Stuart Peoples and Charles Buckingham attended the end of the meeting) ,, Chairperson Studley convened the meeting at 7:30 p.m. Violation Mr. & Mrs. DeM ichel le along with Mr. LaBute attended the meeting to inquire into the verbal cease and desist of work on property located on Cayuga Avenue. Chairman Studley said that it had been reported that they were clearing brush between the lot and the pond. She said that she would rake ars on-site inspection of -the property the next day before taking official. action. Fells Pond Yr. Neil Besse and Nara. Mary Scanlon appeared before the Commission to informally explain their intentions of cl.eanin- g up Fells Pond. They would like to remove water milfoil with a hydro rake. Mrs Scanlon asked haat the pond be viewed before the hearing of May 9. Res i2nation of Board Member The Commission reviewed the resignation of March Dardano and accepted *t with regret. Pauline DeLory mentioned that Gene Narr had exptessed interest in serving on the Board. Reauest for Seaweed Removal in a letter- dated March 29, Ralph Swartz of New Seabury Corporation requested permission for removal of seaweed from the beach area_ runnin in front of the Popponess t Inn and the Beach and Cabana Clubs. Per ti -- Quashnet Valla Chairperson Studley took the copy of the Superseding Greer of Conditions and Army Corps permit issued to the Quashnet Valley Golf Course for re- view, Sux erse in order -- Covich The Commission reviewed the Superseding order of Conditions issued by DEQE for the Covich swimming pool.
