We discussed the renomination of
Ann Bradshaw, Superintendent of Schools. Her busy schedule usually prevents her from
attending meetings. Fortunately, Trish has
serving as the intermedia between
Ann and the e mitteeā€”an arrangement that has worked to our advantage. We think it
is important to retain a position for a representative of the School Department on the
committee. The committee decided to contact Ann and ask if she is interested in
remaining on the committee or if she would prefer to nominate another member of the
department for the seat. Once this is resolved,no ons will be submitted to the
Board of Selectmen.
Terme reported Wayne Taylor is the neer Chairman of the Board of Selectmen for the
conning year. Terrie is now Vice Chairman. She also indicated she will propose to the
board that the BOS members designated as liaison to the various town boards and
committees, provide periodic updates to the other board members regarding the activities
and concerns of the respective boards and committees.
T effie was queried regarding the committee's March 9,2006 request that the BOS take
appropriate action to establish the new fines for handicapped parking violations
