f MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION Meeting of July 29, 1985 Present at this meeting were:. ere:. Ia.rch . . Dardanot Chairman Pro Tem; Louise Behr an; Pauline eBo ; Elliot Rosenberg BarrySlone All Cape Survey Consultant, Inc. - Agent This application is to perform landscape improvements and extend existing deck and to connect to existing dock with elevated stairs at 292 Compass irc l e , New Seabury. Chris Costa, agent for the applicant, presented plans * He stated that there will be no excavating of the coastal bank,, He said the p l axe shows ars existing house and an existing dock and two proposed structures . It is proposed to extend the existing deck and from that deck construct a. walkw y which would connect to an existing dock. There will be some dist ~uance to the coastal bank in the area where the posts will be placed, No machinery will be used on the bank. The post-holes will be excavated by hand. Some- of the vegetation will be trimmed back but the root systems'- will' be left intact. Proposed pruning will be limited to enough to keep vegetation away from the deck and proposed walkway, Ir. Rosenberg expressed concern about the legality of the existing dock, Mr, Costa was unsure of the dimensions , etc. The dock was scaled and approximate dimensions we aye established. Ir. Costa was requested to provide the Commission with verification of the legality of the dock -before further action is taken, Marvin Glick All Cape Survey Consultants , Inc. - Agent This Petition was heard on May9, 1985 and is to construct and maintain a wooden dock and two floats over the tidal waters of Great Rivwe at Bot #62 Keel way, New Seabury, The following is excerpted from the minutes of that hearing:, " " s . Dardano stated that as an Enforcement order is being issued for work being done at this location by the Applicant, this hearing will be continued until such time as said Order has been complied with. 'f On motion duly made by Pauline I eLory and seconded by Stuart Peoples , and unanimously approved, this, hearing shall be so continued."
